Biography
Michael is a director choreographer and fight coordinator residing in Manhattan, NY. Michael started his professional career just after his 19th birthday when he joined the national tour of "Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast". There he dance/fight captained the production for nearly four years.
Since then Michael has moved into the world of directing and choreographing both plays and musicals. In his
career Michael has traveled the entire US, most of Canadaand cities further afield such as Istanbul, Turkey with his work.
Over the years Michael has helped mount several international and national companies of Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast", as well as several national companies of Warner Brothers "ELF". One of which starred George Wendt, and sat down at Madison Square Garden for the month of December.
In his career, Michael has also been very lucky to have worked at many regional theaters across the country. Some include: The North Carolina Theatre, Arizona Broadway, Theatre Institute at Sage, The Geva Theatre, Lyric Stage, and Ogunquit Playhouse.
Michael is also very passionate about development. A piece he is very proud of in which he helped create is a new play called “Sixteen”. “Sixteen” sheds light on issues with the Juvenile Justice System. The project had a sold out limited run at the Theatre For A New City in 2018.
Michael is also very excited to announce that he is currently in development for a new musical comedy for the holidays in which he conceived. The project is called “Christmas With The (Almost) Stars” and centers around a 1960s Christmas TV special gone wrong. Please check out the development tab above for more information on the show.
